Designed to resonate with a diverse yet discerning audience, the resort offers locals an elevated escape close to home, destination travelers the chance to experience the richness of the Virginia highlands, and wine enthusiasts immersive access to award-winning vintages and vineyard tours.

APPROACH

Our work began with a clear goal: capture the soul of Appalachia and translate it into a brand as rich and layered as the land itself. We defined precise brand objectives, crafted a tone of voice balancing refinement with approachability, and developed a visual direction inspired by the textures, colors, and heritage of the region. This foundation came to life through print collateral, apparel, and marketing assets designed to resonate with wine lovers, fine diners, outdoor adventurers, and seekers of serene escapes.

Following the brand launch, we developed the Evergreen Campaign, a perennially relevant marketing platform designed to keep the resort top-of-mind year-round. Versatile in nature, its creative elements represent the property’s signature moments: a glass of wine at sunset, the stillness of the vineyards at dawn, the ease of a weekend escape. Spanning email marketing, print and digital advertising, and website updates, the campaign ensured a consistent and compelling brand presence that invited guests to return in every season.

Curating an Escape for Local AND Regional Guests

We developed a campaign strategy that spoke directly to Nicewonder’s diverse audience by crafting category-specific creative tailored to their passions and interests. For travelers drawn to refined comfort, we showcased The Inn as a luxurious escape with vineyard views and elegant design. Adventure seekers were enticed with The Yurts, highlighting the rustic-meets-luxury experience of sleeping under the stars without sacrificing amenities. Wine enthusiasts were invited to explore The Vineyard through stories of award-winning vintages and immersive tasting experiences. By aligning each message with imagery and copy that spoke to its audience, we created a campaign that felt personal, relevant, and authentic to the Nicewonder experience.
